There's a moment many of us hit in our careers where the expectations change faster than the support.
You're suddenly responsible for outcomes, not just tasks. You're expected to have judgment, influence and clarity, even when the path isn't obvious. You're figuring things out in real time, often without a clear playbook or a place to talk honestly about what's hard.
I'm honored to share my new in-person community gathering made just for that moment. Introducing Room for Growth: where you'll have the opportunity to be in conversation with operators and managers created for that moment.
This is a bi-weekly series starting in San Francisco, designed for people ready to navigate real growth.
Because growth doesn't only happen in classrooms. It happens in conversation.
I wanted to create a dedicated space to slow down, reflect and think more clearly about how you're growing and how you're showing up.
What Can You Expect?
Each session is 50 minutes and intentionally structured. The goal is not a lecture, but an in-conversation experience.
Sessions blend guided discussions with experienced operators, practical frameworks, workshops, and shared reflection.
Our first session on Wednesday, February 11th, will be guided by Tiffani Jones Brown, COO, executive editorial director, and founding member of West Co. — and will focus on helping you make sense of your work and communicate its impact more clearly.
The Six Growth Areas
Every session anchors around one of six core growth areas:
Communication — How you listen, speak, give feedback, and navigate hard conversations.
Strategy & Vision — How you set direction, prioritize, and connect daily work to the bigger picture.
Execution & Results — How you follow through, manage momentum, and actually deliver outcomes.
People & Relationships — How you build trust, manage relationships, and work effectively with others.
Leadership Presence — How you show up, influence, and lead with confidence and clarity.
Self-Development — How you grow yourself, build awareness, and sustain energy over time.
These aren't abstract competencies — they're the things people struggle with quietly while trying to grow in public.
Are You Ready to Make Room For Growth?
If you've felt the gap between what's expected of you and the support you actually receive, I encourage you to join us for a future session.
Let me know if you want to be a part of a future session or have ideas on how we can make room for growth together.
Be sure to subscribe to the Room For Growth page to get the scoop on future sessions!
